Established in January 2022 during Covid, Schaeffer Consulting Experienced exponential growth, servicing clients across South Africa focusing on Small to Medium size businesses and assisting them to grow through skills development.

MISSION STATEMENT

To rapidly upscale skill development efforts in South Africa, by creating an end-to-end, outcome-focused implementation framework, which aligns demands of employers for a well-trained skilled workforce with the aspirations of South Africans for sustainable livelihoods. It is our pursuit to understand our client’s business and create impactful solutions that can drive agility and excellence into their business processes. 

To be the “go to” people for all organizational Skills Development requirements, dealing with the relevant SETA and handling all matters with regards to Skills and Skills Development. To shift the lives of the South African youth and the unemployed so that they may have access to opportunities to grow and make an impact on their families and the economy.



OUR SERVICES

A skills development facilitator is responsible for the planning, implementation and reporting of training in an organization, with Seta- related duties.

A Discretionary Grant is a grant paid to applicants at the discretion of the relevant Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA). Discretionary Grants are aimed at encouraging stakeholders to contribute towards Skills Development.

Workplace Skills Planning (WSP) & Annual Training Report (ATR) Planning plays a key role in the implementation of education, training and development initiatives. Failing to submit the WSP and ATR, will negatively impact your organization’s B-BBEE Status and suspend your grant for the next year’s WSP.

The QCTO is responsible for the accreditation of Skills Development Providers (SDPs) to offer programs and qualifications that fall under the Occupational Qualifications Sub-Framework (OQSF). Any SDP offering training - or who wants to provide training - in any Occupational qualifications/ part-qualifications must seek accreditation from the QCTO and must comply with the minimum criteria for accreditation.

Project management is becoming an increasingly critical skill for learning and development (L&D) leaders to possess. There are a lot of details to keep track of when developing a training program. From gaining alignment with key stakeholders to developing the content to rolling out the program to employees across the organization, learning and development (L&D) professionals must manage the entire process.

Training management refers to the systematic process of administering, organizing, and overseeing training programs within organizations or training institutions. This includes managing learner attendance, stipend distribution, registration and assisting in learner graduation ceremonies.

Learner recruitment and placement is the process of identifying suitable learners that meet both the requirements of the organization as well as the entry level requirements of the qualification and helping them to be strategically positioned in the organizational departments, ensuring they receive the most suitable workplace experience to meet their competencies to achieve the qualifications. 

Assisting by engaging with your SETA on your behalf and following up on Funding Applications, Tranche Payments, Induction, Meeting Deliverables as per SETA MOA’s, Learner Registrations as well as following up on exciting projects that the SETAs have on offer to grow your business.

Verification and external moderation are processes that ensure that learner achievements are valid and that assessments are reliable. They also ensure that assessments are consistent across multiple providers

Designing and developing outcomes-based assessments is the process of creating assessments that are fair, reliable, and unbiased. These assessments are also known as authentic assessments because they are realistic and help students apply their knowledge to real-world problems. These assessments are also aligned to the requirements of the specific outcomes of the module/unit standard.

Suitably qualified staff are able to assist with designing and developing learning material be it for in-house training or in line with the curriculum requirements of registered qualifications/part qualifications/skills programs.  

Accredited Training

Schaeffer Consulting is an accredited training provider with merSETA, QCTO.

We are an accredited First Aider Organization with the Department of Employment and Labour.


FULL QUALIFICATIONS

This qualification is intended for junior managers of small organisations, junior managers of business units in medium and large organisations, or those aspiring to these positions. Junior managers include team leaders, supervisors, foremen and section heads.

This qualification enables learners to manage first-line managers and teams, developing competence in:
